# How to Set Up SMTP for Email via Postmark

> Learn how to set up SMTP for Postmark, including the host, port, and login details.

Use these settings with PDF.co’s [Send Email API](/api/email/send) to send emails with or without attachments through your Postmark account. You can call the API directly or use PDF.co’s integrations with Zapier and Make. See Reference Material below for integration guides.

## SMTP Server Details

* **SMTP Server/Host:** `smtp.postmarkapp.com`
* **SMTP Port:** `587`

## Authentication Information

* **SMTP User Name:** YOUR\_POSTMARK\_SERVER\_API\_TOKEN
* **SMTP Password:** YOUR\_POSTMARK\_SERVER\_API\_TOKEN

## Additional Information

* The SMTP configuration for Postmark uses the server API token for both the username and password. This token is unique to your Postmark account and ensures secure access.
* Ensure that your application supports SMTP and configures TLS encryption on port 587 to secure email transmissions.
