# How to Set Up SMTP for Email via Mail.com

> Learn how to set up SMTP for Mail.com, including the host, port, and login details.

Use these settings with PDF.co’s [Send Email API](/api/email/send) to send emails with or without attachments through your Mail.com account. You can call the API directly or use PDF.co’s integrations with Zapier and Make. See Reference Material below for integration guides.

## SMTP Server Details

* **SMTP Server/Host:** `smtp.mail.com`
* **SMTP Port:** `587`

## Authentication Information

* **SMTP User Name:** Your Mail.com email address (e.g., `yourname@mail.com`).
* **SMTP Password:** Your Mail.com password.

## Additional Information

* The SMTP connection requires TLS/SSL encryption. Ensure that your email client or application supports TLS/SSL and is configured to use it on port 587.
* Always verify that your Mail.com account has SMTP access enabled. This can usually be managed in your account settings under the email configuration or security options.
