# How to Set Up SMTP for Email via Hushmail

> Learn how to set up SMTP for Hushmail, including the host, port, and login details.

Use these settings with PDF.co’s [Send Email API](/api/email/send) to send emails with or without attachments through your Hushmail account. You can call the API directly or use PDF.co’s integrations with Zapier and Make. See Reference Material below for integration guides.

## SMTP Server Details

* **SMTP Server/Host:** `smtp.hushmail.com`
* **SMTP Port:** `587`

## Authentication Information

* **SMTP User Name:** Your Hushmail email address (e.g., `yourname@hushmail.com`).
* **SMTP Password:** Your Hushmail password.

## Additional Information

* Ensure your email client or application supports SMTP authentication as Hushmail requires this for sending emails.
* It’s also recommended to use SSL/TLS security for sending emails, which is supported on port 587 with STARTTLS.
